red cliff 2

Red cliff 2 was great!!! Lots of symbolic meaning which was really clever and the war scenes were pretty all right, but in all it was great! As said before this took 60 years (i think) to complete. Soooo it was a job well done, though im sure the actors changed quite a large number of times before the current actors got into the show. But really some parts were quite draggy and boring. The person 2 seats away from me fell asleep and was snoring for part of the show!

Anyways, happy cny. its great once again to celebrate cny with the whole family and relatives but unfortunately Clarence aint there the whole 15 days since he has to do NS. Enjoy cny all!

Oh and I watched Love Matters, the sg film with alamak in it. Pretty retarded and all but well as usual it has morals behind them. Its not too bad neither was it superb, usual singapore humour and hokkien stuff.

2 super funny incidents:

-A boy was hitting his father with an empty bottle, his father tried to chase him, havent even step one step, the boy ran, brushed past one of the display shelves and fell. its not funny actually but sq made it sound so funny, it looked super funny. the boyboy so brave never cry.

-A sales girl was stoning and inflating her mouth with air. first time i look, try not to laugh, i looked back i just laughed super loud. imagine a gold fish wearing glasses. Hot fish! ok that was quite exaggerated

1)Scientist and engineers created a machine to stimulate the big bang to prove the world's theories. HAHA to that. sounds interesting. They said that it may create mini black holes which may combine to one massive big hole which may suck up the whole earth. As i said sounds interesting to prove that it aint the way the universe has been created.

2)Teenagers beat up a kangeroo. SCUMS! Thats all i have to say. How sad is that! the animal is beaten badly and almost dead if not dead. And for no reason but for fun. What can i say, Scums!

Erm... new Tv came, 42", watched Forbidden Kingdom and Horton Hears a Who by plugging in my laptop with my bro. It was not too bad. Heeeee i played Cabal on the TV, but i stopped soon after cause the screen was too massive and my eyes started to hurt... (actually i was sitting in front of the tv, lol)

WAH, today as i was going home, turning in to high road there was a accident, not a major one but what seemed pretty minor. The lady driver in front came out and yelled like mad at the guy driver who hit her from behind, and she was SUPER angry. Like i could hear her yelling even with my windows closed and my exhaust. (My exhaust is super loud, if you thought singapore cars were loud, imagine mine being 10 times a normal household singapore car, NOT EXAGGERATING!!!). Well that was the first accident i've saw that the one that ganna whack was super angry, i wont be surprised if she punched him lor!

Well thank God for protection that has been upon my family. I almost ganna accident yesterday lor, like 1cm behind the person's car. SUPER CLOSE!!! i was like, wah thank you GOD!!!! Heee, i blame the brakes too, i wasnt speeding, i was at 20km/h haha waiting to turn. Heeee thank you God!

And i realised that my blog is void of pictures for the last few posts, so this is my beamer (BMW).

They had this show on channel 9(?) called wipe out today, which seemed sooooo much like a game i've played on ps1. Basically, it was like a full obstacle course for people to do to make them fall and be laughed at and all, its really quite good but a definate copy!!!

They are also having a new show called hole in the wall which is an exact copy from the japanese game show called human tetris. One of the most retardedly funny game shows i've ever seen which is super good. If you wanna know where it is, you can get it off youtube. If you havent watched it, you should, cause its awesome!

People do dress weirdly!!! I was walking around city, with the others and i saw this guy wearing a super baggy black pants with some weird words which is shiny blue in colour like stuck on it while he was wearing a hoodie which had like cotton spikes all over, yes spikes. Took a picture of a super funny card, will post the picture soon.

The Police Story was shown on SBS today which was a jackie chan show. It was pretty good, features him when he was young so there was much more action compared to now. Good show which teaches you how much your parents care for u and how neglecting some kids can be against their parents and sometimes how much they hate them. How sad isn't it! Must learn from example and love them just as they love you eh.

When i was driving back today, i saw a super bright and awesome rainbow which was like a full semi circle. It was super nice!!! and thus i took a picture... while driving. and u can see that there's actually a fainter one above the super bright one.

I am back again in Australia. Miss the things back in sg but my life's on both sides but ohh well. Anyways got back and slept till 2pm today! I am super power lor.

Just got back from jensen's party, it was good stuff and i think he's a pretty good host too! He let me try this mixture of coke + vodka + krakotoa? or something like that and it tasted awesome! Ought to try it sometime again. Anyways im off, cya! Oh and happy belated Jensen!

Batman and gym

Watched The Dark Knight yesterday with some of the church people and i have to say this is a super good show which is super worth it for 6.50. Its like when u think the movies gonna end, it doesnt till an hour later, superb! I wont spoil it for you guys but flat out 2 thumbs up! Great stuff!

Besides that, went to the gym today with my sister, we were supposed to play tennis but it started raining so that just went outta the window. Woke up 9.30 which i have not done for 20++ days? heee yes im a pig. And i made an amazing discovery, that i have absolutely pok stamina.

Results:

-4mins on treadmill with incline level 9 and speed 9

-5mins on treadmill with incline level 8 and speed 9

-Max weights done 50kg for 8 times 2 sets

-Rest is like nothing so dun bother

How awesome was that? Anyways had a great time! Heee

Red Cliff Movie

Watched Red Cliff today, the "most anticipated asian war movie of the year", so it says on the poster in PS's gv.

For those that love Curse of the Golden Flower just for the war scenes and completely do not get anything about the politics and ancient chinese history like me, u'll love Red Cliff (just that the fighting is more formation and not as interesting as Curse of the golden flower and much too gory, i reckon!). and i heard that it took 22 years to make this!!! I wonder how many times the actors changed and perhaps all the crew.

Do i recommend watching that? Err, if u like war movies which are like those type where one person can win like 100 people before dying or retreating, or u like chinese history and understand it, u'll probably like it. For me who completely has no idea of chinese history and don't understand a thing, i give only a one thumbs up. Note out of 2 thumbs hor, since each person has 2 hands.
